HOW WE MET

Kellyn met Will at Evergreen's Co-ed Basketball League in the summer of 2005. Despite an immediate mutual interest both parties hesitated to make the first move. With Kellyn's aggression on the court towards Will (aka her version of trying to catch his attention) and Will's playful banter, enough momentum prompted Will to finally ask Kellyn out on their first date. Two weeks and three dates later they soon committed to a love relationship based on Christ on September 21, 2006.

HOW WE GOT ENGAGED

Will surprised Kellyn with a proposal in front of their closest friends and family at their Evergreen Shooting Stars girls' basketball team swim party. Expecting the usual end of the season celebrations, Coach Kellyn was surprised with a fancy ring from Coach Will who proposed down on one knee with tears welling up in his eyes. Our precious community of supporters showered us with apple cider toasts, cake, an engagement slideshow and a big congrats banner made by the Shooting Stars. The newly engaged couple humbly thanked their friends and family for their undying support and love. To top it off, Kellyn's final surprise of the day...Will threw Kellyn into the pool...and he did remember to take off the new engagement ring before the big splash!
